Professional Advancement of 11th Class of ASDS Concluded




Today, with the ceremony held in the amphitheatre of the National Defence School “Vojvoda Radomir Putnik” at which badges and certificates were awarded, attenders of 11th Class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies officially completed the highest form of professional advancement in the system of defence of the Republic of Serbia.

Tomorrow, at a ceremony to be held in the House of the National Assembly, six attenders from the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, eleven attenders from the governmental authorities and services of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and three attenders from Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive replicas of Serbian mediaeval swords.



The professional advancement started on 31st January and included a range of lectures held by renowned experts in the field of defence and security, state officials and national and foreign diplomats, and there were also five study visits in the country and abroad.

The certificates on the completed professional advancement were presented by Colonel Mićo Suvajac, Head of the National Defence School, while Colonel Branko Mišić, Head of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies presented the ASDS badges to the attenders.

Zoran Antić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs spoke at the ceremony on behalf of the attenders saying that the completion of the ASDS did not represent solely an honour and privilege, but their obligation to continue their dedicated work in the interest of our country.
