Defence Logistics

The purpose of the Master’s Study Programme Defence Logistics is to improve the ability of logistics officers and their preparation for quality performance of duties in the defence logistics system of the Republic of Serbia, i.e. to improve the ability of civilian students to perform adequate logistics duties in the civilian.
In addition, the officers and civilians in the study programme are trained to solve complex organizational problems in logistics in peacetime, mobilization and war conditions, while performing tasks within the defined missions of specific systems.
The general goal of the Master’s Studies Defence Logistics study programme is to acquire academic knowledge and skills and achieve the competencies necessary to perform the duties of logistics officers at the middle level of hierarchical organization in the defence system, as well as appropriate duties in the civil sector.
This includes, among other things, the development of creative, analytical and organizational skills for solving specific, professional problems, the ability to think critically and analytically, developing the skills necessary for teamwork, cooperation, communication and mastery of specific practical skills necessary for successful professional work and future career development.
The structure of the study programme consists of compulsory and elective courses, study research work based on master’s thesis, professional practice and master’s thesis.
A student obtains a master’s degree of an engineer in logistics engineering if he/she fulfils all the obligations prescribed by the study programme within the prescribed period and thus achieves 60 ECTS.
