Military Mechanical Engineering
The purpose of the Master’s Study Programme Military Mechanical Engineering is to train officers of the technical service of the appropriate specialty to solve problems within their service in accordance with the missions and tasks of the Serbian Armed Forces.
With the implementation of this study programme, the officers of the Technical Service of the appropriate specialty expand the knowledge acquired in the undergraduate studies and are trained to work in the initial and the next higher positions within the specialty and service.
The study programme enables officers and students to get qualified for the jobs of both an officer and a master mechanical engineer of the appropriate specialty, and in accordance with the general goals and tasks of education at the Military Academy.
Master mechanical engineers will be trained to solve more complex technical and technological problems in the initial and the next higher positions related to technology and organization of maintenance, as well as development, design and testing of weapons, combat and non-combat vehicles, aircraft and aircraft engines in peace and war. A student obtains a master’s degree in mechanical engineering if he/she fulfils all the obligations prescribed by the study programme within the prescribed period and thus achieves 60 ECTS.
