Centre for Foreign Languages
The Centre for Foreign Languages is responsible for planning, organizing and conducting foreign language classes, as a narrow scientific field, for the needs of members of the MoD and the Serbian Armed Forces. The Centre is also responsible for the organization and implementation of language courses for the MoD and SAF members, as well as placement tests in foreign languages for the needs of the MoD and SAF, interpretation and translation services for the needs of the MoD, instructor assistance in foreign language classrooms, and training of foreigners in Serbian language courses (if necessary, in foreign language courses), primarily in order to enable them to successfully attend lectures during further training in military schools and other MoD and SAF institutions.
Tasks of the Centre:
- Teaching English as compulsory and German, French, Russian and Italian as elective subject at Undergraduate Studies;
- Teaching in foreign language courses for the MoD and SAF members, online English language courses (reading, listening, etc.) as well as Serbian language courses for foreigners;
- Organizing and conducting extracurricular placement tests in foreign languages for the MoD and SAF members for various purposes;
- Providing interpretation and translation services for the needs of the MoD.
