ERAZMUS + GENERAL CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS FOR 2021

The European program in the field of education, training, youth and sports - Erasmus + begins a new seven-year implementation period that lasts from 2021 to 2027. The program continues to support various forms of cooperation between institutions and organizations through project competitions. On 26 March 2021, the European Commission published a new Erasmus + General Call for Proposals for 2021, which lists the types of projects to be funded, as well as deadlines for all individual components of the program. It is expected that the status of the Republic of Serbia as a program country will continue in the new program, which means that institutions and organizations would have the opportunity to fully participate in all parts of the Erasmus + program, as coordinators or partners.

NEW Erasmus + PROGRAM WILL LAST FROM 2021 TO 2027

The new Erasmus + program will last from 2021 to 2027, and the total funds intended for the program for the entire period amount to 26 billion euros. The Republic of Serbia continues to participate in the Erasmus + program as a program country, which provides higher education institutions, holders of the Erasmus Charter, with the opportunity to participate in all parts of the program. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the delay in the adoption of the EU budget for the next period, the European Commission has decided that the first call for project applications will be in early 2021, but not before March. In the coming period, after the publication of the Program Guide for the period from 2021 to 2027, the Tempus Foundation will organize an Erasmus + week with the aim of providing detailed information on the new cycle of programs.
