University Senate




The Senate is the highest professional body of the University. The Senate has 17 members. The Senate consists of the Deans of higher education units and, as a rule, four full professors from the Military Academy and three full professors from the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy.

Members of the Senate who are not full professors may not participate in the voting when deciding on the election to the title of full professor is on the agenda. The Rector and Vice-Rectors are members of the Senate. The Rector presides over the sessions of the Senate.
